Ms. Smith started her career in the transportation industry in 1992 as a Reservation Specialist for Ryder System, Inc. where she assisted rental customers with move planning and rental needs. That same year Ms. Smith was promoted to the position of Senior Customer Service Specialist where she was responsible for providing direct assistance and support to truck rental and leasing clients that were experiencing mechanical and related issues with their vehicle. With a solid understanding of the truck rental and leasing business, coupled with her secondary educational background in business and accounting, Ms. Smith was promoted repeatedly within the company.

Kelly joined Armstrong Relocation where she worked closely with Sally Aversano. Given her keen business acumen and entrepreneurial drive, Ms. Smith was recruited by long-time business associate Sally Aversano to start a new business venture – Strategic Logistics and Relocation Solutions. In her current role, Ms. Smith is responsible for all customer service and business operations for the company.

As COO, Ms. Smith is the second highest individual at SLRS and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. Kelly works closely with the project managers and the sales team to keep track of all job progress and customer satisfaction. She designs and implements policies to promote the company’s vision and oversees all operations to keep business on track. Ms. Smith’s experience as an efficient leader helps her maintain control of the diverse business operations. Her excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethic help drive SLRS to be a successful company!
